Greetings, I have a Western Digital USB drive (My Passport 0810, scsi). It has two partitions. I use the first for booting live images of Fedora. The second is a LUKS partition. The partition scheme is GUID. In the past, I was able get ISO images of Fedora into the first partition. Now, I get stuck in a loop.
'livecd-iso-to-mediums fedora.iso /dev/sdc1' tells me that the partition "isn't marked bootable". It suggests 'parted /dev/sdc' to fix it. I follow the instruction with '(parted) toggle 1 boot'. '(parted) print' tells me that the partition now has the following flags: boot, esp I quit parted and run 'livecd-iso-to-mediums fedora.iso /dev/sdc1' again. I get the error message again (i.e. The partition isn't marked bootable!). This is exhausting. Parted recognizes the flags but, for some unexplainable reasons, livecd-iso-to-mediums does not. Can someone offer a solution to this?
