Greetings, ----- Original Message ----- > is it possible to populate the "Liveuser" home directory during > creation of live image with livecd-creator?
I populate /root and /etc/skel during the media creation... to copy over all of the content from which I create the media. Here's what I put in my "%post --nochroot" secton. I don't know if you'll find this helpful or not. # MontanaLinux stuff HOSTDIR="/root/livecd-creator/MontanaLinux" cp -f "$HOSTDIR/.tmux.conf" "$INSTALL_ROOT/etc/skel/" cp -f "$HOSTDIR/.tmux.conf" "$INSTALL_ROOT/root/" mkdir "$INSTALL_ROOT/root/livecd-creator" cp -f -r $HOSTDIR "$INSTALL_ROOT/root/livecd-creator/" Note, what you put in /etc/skel (completely unrelated to live media) will be copied to new (local) user's home directories. And that includes the liveuser.
