There's a blueprint on www.sun.com (sorry, don't have the pointer
offhand) on how to build a customized version of the Solaris install
media, which is the best answer right now; the install media is after
all a somewhat limited form of a live CD. In this project, I expect
we'll start including SPARC support once a project known as "newboot
SPARC" integrates; it introduces archive-based booting similar to the
x86 method and will thus be much closer to the work we've done here and
is a prerequisite for ZFS boot support on SPARC.
