Hi all,
since I am awaiting confirmation of a bug fix before the final release, I
have put up a test build of LiVES 1.3.3. I would like to make this version
rock solid stable, since the last release was rushed out a bit in time for
ubuntu 10.4.

If anybody has time before sunday, please download the test build and try
it out. As far as I know there are no remaining bugs, but there were some
problems with splitting and moving blocks in multitrack, so this would be
a good area to test.

Also, if anybody wants to do some last minute translation, there are still
a few days left.

New features include:

Faster insertion of frames in multitrack.
Optimisations for longer (10 minute+) clips in multitrack.
Implement FULL jack timebase client.
Improved a/v sync.
Multitrack/mixer GUI improvements.
Play video during "record external audio to selection".
Smoother resampling for external window capture.
Added two new effects, "comicbook" and "softlight".
Enable realtime audio mixer in multitrack.
Allow pause/resume during encoding and opening.
Reduce CPU usage when paused in effects or encoding.
Add image overlay effect into core rendered effects.
Add highly experimental x264 blu-ray video support (1080p NTSC and 720p)
New preferences layout.
Add "advanced" tab to TV card/webcam input.

Also I would like to introduce a new LiVES developer, Aleksij Kolga, who
worked on the new preferences layout. Aleksij is from Lithuania, but is
currently in the process of moving to Finland. I am sure you will all join
me in welcoming him to the team.
