Hello,
Vloopback is not supported any more in the Linux kernel, it disappeared
with v4l backward compatibility support. Which is a shame, it made multiple
vj streams controlled by midi possible. There is now v4l2loopback, which
provides much better options, performance, etc. But it is not supported in
LiVES.
I am still working on this visual mapping patch which I would like to write
a tutorial for, but to have vloopback supprt now is way to complicated and
will not allow you to run with a up to date version of Linux, Gem, PD, etc.
Which causes lot's of issues.
Please let me know if you are planning on v4l2loopback support, or I will
have to look for another solution.
Regards,
Harrie
