Hi guys, ORL from Sebkha-Chott here, I before was known with tyranorl nick, I guess.
Climat, one of the band I've been installing LiVES for is currently working on stage, and experience a problem. As I'm in studio by myself, I don't have the time to go and see what happens to them, and got only a few informations, but it seems that it is linked to audio (that I never used within LiVES). What they told me is "Lives works, then "crash boum", everthing freezes and nothing can be read without restarting LiVES." No matter if they use pulseaudio or jack (my prefered way, as I'm an audio man), they get a message telling that "jack has been reset" or "Pulse has been reinitialized". To give more precisions, they have something like 50 clips, mainly in mp4, but some of them in wmv. They do VJing with it, so play enabled (no loop), and use OSC to switch from one to another,and also to freeze the clips whenever they want to. The thing is running within a ladish studio, so that everything that is needed is started at the same moment. If you have any idea about where I should tell them to look for, it'd be nice, cause a google search didn't lead me far (google search with "Lives" and "Jack" or "Pulseaudio" are quite inoperant).
