Hi Michel-Patrick,
can you please try with the svn version of LiVES. I think the gui issues
may be fixed there.
Reagarding the webm encoding, can you try editing the ffpeg_encoder in
/usr/lib/lives/plugins/encoders. Then just replace -qscale with -q:v and
the following -b with -b:v.
