Super late super brief comment:

I spent some time hacking the standalone LLDB build to work a few weeks
ago. I got it to work for me, but I didn't bang on it particularly hard so
I'm not surprised that you're running into issues. My hope was to get it to
a place where distros could use it and IDE users could use it for the
smaller project files.
