You can poke around the CVS tree interactively:

There is a drop down that says "Sticky tag" which you can use to see the
tagged versions including ltkc_1_0_0_8 and ltkcpp_1_0_0_8

Probably some other header file was including these before and was masking
an implied dependency. Certainly it would be better to include them
directly.
