            Bug ID: 32076
           Summary: llvm-cov show -format html: too much red when first
                    case in switch is not executed
           Product: new-bugs
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: new bugs
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

When I look at the html report for z.c (instructions below) I see line 3 is
colored red, which is correct because that line is never executed. But I also
see red on the semicolons at the ends of lines 4 and 5, and the tabs at the
start of lines 4, 5 and 6, which doesn't make much sense.

To reproduce:

$ cat z.c
int f(int x) {
        switch (x) {
        case 1: x = 2; break;
        case 2: x = 3; break;
        case 3: x = 5; break;
        case 4: x = 7; break;
        }
        return x;
}
int main() {
        f(2);
        f(3);
        f(4);
        return 0;
}
$ clang -fcoverage-mapping -fprofile-instr-generate z.c -o z
$ ./z
$ llvm-profdata merge default.profraw -o merged.profdata
$ llvm-cov show -instr-profile merged.profdata z -format html -output-dir out
$ xdg-open out/index.html

I'm using llvm and clang built from svn trunk r296323.
