Bug ID: 36348
Summary: Clang's built EXEs from source are not same as
downloaded binary
Product: clang
Version: 4.0
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows NT
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P
Component: LLVM Codegen
Assignee: unassignedclangb...@nondot.org
Reporter: sanjitforin...@gmail.com
CC: llvm-bugs@lists.llvm.org
Clang Version : 4.0.1
OS: Windows 7
CMake: 3.10.1
Visual Studio : 2015
CMake Command Used: cmake -G"Visual Studio 14 2015 Win64" ..\llvm
I have followed steps as mentioned in the link
https://clang.llvm.org/get_started.html for building CLang in windows with
Visual Studio.
I have visual studio 2015 installed on my system and I have built `clang.exe`
from the source code by following the steps mentioned in the document.
Now the problem is the build EXE is missing some functionality and is behaving
like an old version of `CLang`.(The Basic Block names is coming as <label> in
the generated IR)
I have double checked the repository from where I downloaded the sources and
steps to built EXE.
P.S. The size of built exes are less in size compared to the downloaded binary.
