Bug ID: 36636
           Summary: Assembling file with debug info does the wrong thing
           Product: libraries
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows NT
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: MC

This was given as a reason for reverting r326839:

$ cat q.c
void g() {}
$ clang -S q.c -g
$ clang -g -c q.s
q.s:9:2: error: file number already allocated
        .file   1 "/tmp/test" "q.c"

However, the behavior without that patch is that the .debug_line section
gives "q.s" as file 1, not "q.c". (using gcc instead of clang here will
put "q.c" in the .debug_line section.) So, LLVM's behavior was broken to
begin with.
