Bug ID: 47917
Summary: Provide release tarballs along LLVM releases
Product: libclc
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P
Component: All Bugs
Assignee: unassignedb...@nondot.org
Reporter: aaronpuch...@alice-dsl.net
CC: llvm-bugs@lists.llvm.org, tstel...@redhat.com
Currently there are no release tarballs for libclc, at least I can't see any
under https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/releases/tag/llvmorg-11.0.0 and
https://libclc.llvm.org/ just says you have to clone the monorepo.
Could we have tarballs for libclc alongside with every LLVM release? I know
that libclc has a different versioning scheme, but libc++ is also largely
backwards-compatible and is still at SO version 1.0. Still we have tarballs for
that.
