As you may know, one of the responsibilities of the area teams and project council is to ensure we have an up-to-date list of active maintainers for each component in the project. As chair of the Clang Area Team, I have been reaching out to Clang maintainers via email but have been unable to reach everyone (spam filters, changed email addresses, etc).
If you are assigned this issue, it's because you are one of the folks I've not been able to reach. Please leave a comment verifying you are still actively maintaining your subcomponent, wish to continue doing so, and if you need any contact information to be updated. Our community policies regarding the responsibilities and process for maintainers can be found at https://llvm.org/docs/DeveloperPolicy.html#maintainers.
If you no longer wish to be a maintainer for a subcomponent, no worries! I can move you to the Inactive Maintainers section of the file and if you wish to resume your role in the future, you are welcome to do so. If you have recommendations for a new (or additional) maintainer, feel free to let me know who.
I'm trying to get this done soon so that the next elected area team starts off with a clean slate, so if there's no response to this issue by EOD Mon Feb 9 from an assignee, I will assume you'd like to be moved to the Inactive Maintainers section. If you have questions, need help, or want to discuss anything, feel free to reach out. Thank you!
