llvm-mc doesn't assemble this:
$ cat sub.s
fsubp %st, %st(2)
$ llvm/Debug+Asserts/bin/llvm-mc sub.s
.section __TEXT,__text,regular,pure_instructions
sub.s:1:14: error: invalid operand for instruction
fsubp %st, %st(2)
^
but gas seems fine with it:
$ as sub.s -o sub.o
$ objdump -d sub.o
sub.o: file format elf64-x86-64
Disassembly of section .text:
0000000000000000 <.text>:
0: de e2 fsubp %st,%st(2)
It'd be nice if we did that too!
