MacPorts log of build failure with clang version 3.3 (trunk 173279)
Trying to compile tor 0.2.4.9-alpha on OS X for both i386 and b86_64
simultaneously crashes clang. All versions of clang I tested are affected,
including clang 2.9, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3r173279 installed by MacPorts, clang
3.1svn (Apple clang version 4.1 (tags/Apple/clang-421.11.66) (based on LLVM
3.1svn)) installed by Xcode 4.5.2, and clang 3.2svn (Apple LLVM version 4.2
(clang-425.0.24) (based on LLVM 3.2svn)) installed by Xcode 4.6. This problem
did not exist when compiling tor 0.2.4.3-alpha. The problem does not exist when
compiling for x86_64 only.
Attached is the MacPorts log file. You can reproduce the problem by installing
MacPorts and running:
sudo port install tor-devel configure.compiler=clang
