Bug ID: 17034
Summary: [-cxx-abi microsoft] Mangle
TemplateArgument::Declaration correctly for pointer to
member function
Product: clang
Version: trunk
Hardware: PC
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P
Component: LLVM Codegen
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Classification: Unclassified
consider:
struct record {
virtual int first();
virtual int second();
};
struct omg : public record {
virtual int third();
virtual int fourth();
};
struct vrecord : virtual public record {
virtual int third();
virtual int fourth();
};
struct base1 {
virtual int field1();
};
struct base2 {
virtual int field2();
};
struct v2record : public base1, virtual public vrecord, public base2 {
virtual int fun();
virtual int fifth();
virtual int sixth();
};
template <typename record, int (record::*thing)()>
void memptr() {}
template void memptr<omg, &omg::third>();
template void memptr<omg, &omg::fourth>();
template void memptr<v2record, &v2record::fifth>();
template void memptr<v2record, &v2record::sixth>();
the last instantiation is supposed to mangle to:
??$memptr@Uv2record@@$I??_9omg@@$BBI@AAA@A@@@YAXXZ
note how insane and baffling this mangling seems to be, it mentions the type
"omg" even though v2record has no relationship with it other than sharing a
base class.
further insanity results when instantiations #1 and #2 are not included, the
mangling changes!
it becomes:
??$memptr@Uv2record@@$I??_91@$BBI@AAA@A@@@YAXXZ
