lit no longer deployed via make install . I saw a note to the makefile saying
this was because its an internal tool. I wanted to use it for my own compiler.
Suggestion either reinstate it or remove / modify the using lit page
http://llvm.org/docs/CommandGuide/lit.html which implies its a standard tool.
