Bug ID: 19570
Summary: set-xcode-analyzer doesn't work anymore
Product: clang
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Macintosh
OS: MacOS X
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P
Component: Static Analyzer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Classification: Unclassified
I've tried to set my default xcode analyzer as described in the article (the
same commands are on the static analyzer webpage):
http://useyourloaf.com/blog/2014/04/16/running-custom-clang-analyzer-builds.html
But as one of the people in the comments said:
"i receive "No compiler configuration file was found. Xcode's analyzer has not
been updated." have you any idea why this happen ?"
The same happens for me:
% sudo ./set-xcode-analyzer --use-checker-build=/usr/local/checker-276
Password:
(+) Using Clang bundled with checker build: /usr/local/checker-276
(+) Searching for xcspec file in: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
(-) No compiler configuration file was found. Xcode's analyzer has not been
updated.
I'm using the newest as of today version of Xcode, installed using MAS, version
5.1.1 (5B1008).
How can I set the checker manually or will there be a fix for that?
