In 0.4.6 file-association was not possible. Installing 0.4.7 automatically
associated *.mppz correctly with LMMS. Very nice! But, there is a small bug.
If a project saved with VSTige instrument plugins, is opend associated from
windows-explorer with mouse-double-clicks, LMMS throws an error. “VST could
not be loaded for a reason... ..”
The same project opens correctly (and fast) if LMMS own browser(s) (eg
sidebar) or the 'recent files' shortcut is chosen. -Eg, The bug is
exclusively for associated file opening through window-explorer.
LMMS does not crash. The VST-dll is simply ignored, and LMMS loads the
correct! preset (setting and FX plugins preserved) but the dll is not loaded
-And! it cant be manually loaded in the project.
This part of the bug is the strangest:
After the load-failure, no VST can be used in the project. All attempt to
load either a defined preset or a new VSTige dll into an empty VST-preset,
fails with the same error “VST could not be loaded for a reason... ..”.
A hint of the origin could be that LMMS looses the reference to the folder
with VST dlls, and point to 'C/:document and setting' when the folder symbol
on the VST-preset is clicked.

Hope this helped
