Hi again,

Presently user has to:
1. Click the track's description (to open the panel).
2. Set the desired number in panel by sliding mouse over the "gauge".
3. Close that window.
There is no information "at a glance" about "what has which FX assigned".

What do you think about adding new way of assignment - and changing it
- (while keeping the present one): just by dragging the track's name
(you know, the label) onto FX-section of user's choice? And another
thing: if the track has an effect, it would be more informative, if
that "blinking rectangle" could shift into chosen FX-section number
(only for tracks with no FX it would be a rectangle). It can still be
blinking, while giving additional information: which FX is in use for
that track. Finally, there could be a menu point like "drop FX
connection" added to the small "track menu" (the one raised by
clicking "tools" button).

And similar thing: it's not feasible to use "drag and drop" to connect
the FX-section to controller of user's choice? It would be maybe not
necessarily that much faster, but still easier and more intuitive way
to establish such connection; and also in this case the present way
can be kept.

Zbigniew
