Here's a modified version of the patch:
- The time displayed should be accurate now
- If the tempo is automated, "--------" is displayed instead of time
- Changed the beat display to bar:beat.ticks, counting bars and beats
from 1 instead of 0.
- And there's a small hint of which mode is active at the bottom of the widget
