Hello all, I've been working on a song in LMMS for many months and after
upgrading to 4.15 and saving, LMMS now freezes constantly whenever I'm
trying to edit it. I think this has to do with my extremely bloated project
file.
Luckily, I have a few backups of the file and interestingly enough all of
the backups that I made before LMMS 0.4.15 are right around 768kb in size
(compressed). Any idea how I can remedy this?
To sum up:
On my Ubuntu 13.10 box with LMMS 0.4.15 the large project file opens but I
can't edit it without constant crashing (I can however save the file and do
small tasks as long as i don't scroll down the main window).I've installed
Ubuntu Studio 13.10 on a spare hard drive to test a clean install and the
large project file will not even open but instead crashes LMMS, though the
normal sized project file opens fine.
I will gladly give any more information as necessary.
