Have you seen the problem with Zoom + Sequencer and Instrument Tracks?

Depending on the zoom level, some note lengths become invisible.

Changing the zoom makes the hidden notes visible again, sometime other note
lengths disappear.

It doesn't seem to be as simple as "notes shorter than 1px are invisible"
it's something different.

Also - I think that making a single pixel at the start of each note
slightly brighter could help the readability, as quick series of notes
would look different that just a long note.

I've made a demo project that shows this problem. You an also use it to
test, it it's fixed.
