The GUI has enough elements, adding yet an additional counter is overkill
in my opinion.
I think just fixing the counter to work properly with a beat/bass line
editor (start back from zero when playing a single beat/bassline) is
perfectly suitable.
Alex's original email gets this point across and I'm a bit confused as to
what the rest of the dialog is in reference to. This is pretty
self-explanatory, is it not?
