Woah, found a serious windows preset bug. The LMMS preset browser does not
update when creating or deleting a preset. On creation of a presetit's just
annoying because you have to quit LMMS to get the browser to refresh, but
if you delete a preset and click on it in LMMS it will throw an error, play
what I can only assume is a cached version of the sound, and crash.

I discovered this while mucking around with presets because I was wondering
if FX channel routing be tied to a preset? Currently when I drop a new
instrument preset over an old one it loads the fx channel saved in the
preset. This means if you have a channel muted, load a preset that uses
that channel you can end up scratching your head. Likewise if you drop a
preset over an existing track it swaps the fx channel which makes it hard
to evaluate instruments while playing a song.
