So, I think this would be a nice option to provide. Currently AFP works by simple scaling of pitch by resampling the sample buffer. This is probably sufficient for most purposes.
But what if we provided an additional, optional feature: scale pitch with librubberband, which can scale pitch without changing the length/tempo of the sample? It could be implemented with a simple checkbox in AFP which switches between modes.
