School has priority, no question ;-) Nevertheless I think the fitter class shouldn't be a big deal at all. The base class should have a constructor which takes the AutomatableObject to operate on and a pure virtual const method fittedValue() which takes a float and returns a float. That's it. Maybe I'll find the time to implement it in the meantime.
