Hi LMMS Members,
I am interested in improving the Sharing Platform.
I have noticed that some songs on the lsp are not getting proper ratings.
This has previously been discussed among the users but there is no
conclusion to how this problem will be fixed. Obviously, we cannot force
users to rate properly, but we can help a certain song achieve the proper
recognition it deserves. How I propose to do this is simple.
My Idea:
When a project on the lsp is commented on and/or rated, it could move up to
the top of the page for everyone to see. This is exactly how "new topics"
work on the forums. My desire is to make it the same way on lsp.
Many people who use LMMS do not contribute to the lsp but rather to
soundcloud or other similar sites. I strongly believe, however, that the
sharing platform is important to the growth and and well-being of the LMMS
community. Not only does it show how the song was made and provides
opportunities for remixes, but it also builds a strong community through
helpful tips and encouraging comments. So I hope you will take notice of
my request.
