Hi! I'm unfa, I've made two LPs with just ZynAddSubFX, one sold a few
copies. I use it for all sounds (drums too!) in my music, that I compose
mostly using LMMS.
I've read some things that gave me some hope about some amazing
possibilities that could emerge. This was written about planned ZynAddSubFX
features:
> - OSC control of __Everything__
> - MIDI control of almost everything
Does this mean that LMMS could somehow be able to automate any parameter
inside ZynAddSubFX just like it does with all other instruments and
plug-ins (except for the VSTs?)?
If you don't know, LMMS enables the user to drag (with Ctrl key held) any
GUI element like knob, fade, switch etc. onto an Automation Track. This
creates an Automation Clip there that is assigned to drive the dragged
control.
Could this work for ZynAddSubFX interface too?
What would it take?
Do you think it would be worth the work?
Or maybe it would make things harder, by making LMMS' ZynAddSubFX a
separate project?
