provided that I fully understand you, then this also affect how a user perceives control of a dial? How will the user see the step by step values (using mouse-wheel). I think that would be one of the deciding things -eg, That the user sees a /logical step/ by step movement, that /makes sence/ to the user. But /that/ issue is already taken care of, because all setting can be shown as percents! So- it look to me that the implementation, in respect to how the user percieves it, in fact is transparent? -So, i like the last model /hybrid approach/, whitch also would be the least regress intensive, i think ?
