"Effects" are generally something that changes a sound via a plugins and we have many of them. Do you mean pre-recorded sound effects? Or perhaps support for effects presets? (<--- This is popular in commercial daws).
I would be a fan of more pads, transitions, et.al if you mean non-musical sound effect samples. Some explosions, etc are always nice to have at the fingertips. :)
