Yea, it is definitely a better idea to use bundles and don't allow archive files.
So this is the only new feature of lsp2 right now. Another thing that imo comes naturally with bundles is allowing "Readme" files. It's ok to have a description online of the group of downloaded files, but what about an off-line downloadable reference? Let's allow .txt :P Also, what about Contents Filters? Right now one can filter the files and search of a project, a preset, a sound or a theme (the ones for wich tar.gz are used for) etc. With bundles we would allow more-than-one-kind-of-file records for the search. How would we do that? Options may be: - A new query exclusively for bundles - Implement tags (so one may search: "preset" & "bundle" to have a bundle of presets, or maybe "preset" OR "sample" to have a sound of any kind) - Leave the search engine like it is now and just allow the fact that some of the results will e bundles and some don't I prefer the implementation of tags, but also a new exclusive kind of content is fine. Finally, if we don't want archives, what about UI themes? Il 01/09/2014 19:37, Tres Finocchiaro ha scritto: > > Really, the software should allow bundles, the rest would come > naturally.
