Ah, right, one automation per *automation track*. I think #1 is the best
out of of those choices. There's no reason at all to automate a knob from
many different tracks, and having only one type of automation per
automation track is good practice. If we were to allow one track driving
multiple knobs, I think #3 would be best, but otherwise you could just
clone the first track and connect it to another knob.
