Well, just because it is a wontfix, doesn't mean it's not a bug. XP is EOL
so it's unlikely to be fixed, but the record of it happening and existing
is a very valid bug report and for people experiencing this to have a place
to discuss it (instead of a mailing list archive) is ok.
And to be clear, the XP support issues may all be fixable, but someone with
the time and knowledge would have to reproduce. In my experience, many
Windows bugs are also reproducible on Wine, which has some decent debug
information in the crash log. Those logs could be appended to the bug
report and be found in search results by 1000 people debugging completely
unrelated issues. The information and the bug report is valid, even if we
do nothing with it. Keep that in mind when reflecting on yourself for
still using XP, and please setup a second test environment! :)
