I think Vesa has offered to help anyone who's offered to build a plugin :).
To paraphrase him a bit, grab one of the more basic plugins, clone it and
start coding. :)
You'll want to add your plugin folder to the plugin/CMakeList.txt so that
it gets built. Then start asking questions. :)
