Hi, I like LMMS a lot,and have worked on various music genres. However,I have 2
years producing vaporwave and, even if I still use this software to produce it.
I am having a problem when I try to use samples. I know I can import the
samples directly but I need to do many manipulations to the audio sample while
having a track for it. Some of them are:
- Split
- Stretch
- Change pitch
- Cut
More than a request for it. I would like to be in charge of implementing these
features.
For those not familiarized with the genre. I can explain it is similar to
hip-hop in the way we cut samples a lot and loop them.
I am manipulating samples of other songs as instrument and looping them as
well. It is not the most optimal way I know, even if it works. The wiki says I
shall manipulate it in audacity but I don't think it is an optimal way to do
this, so I would like to work on sound implementation to have more features
that may be useful to me.

I see that we don't have many options on samples as sound and I am doing most
of my tracks by using workarounds.

If nobody is working in it. May I have a feature request filed on github in
order to work on it?
