Hi, I just spent a good few hours getting my new midi keyboard to work with
LMMS.
Almost all of the documentation and tutorials I could find online, including
the LMMS wiki assumed a level of knowledge I did not have.
I finally found the answer in this forum post

I'd like to update the wiki section 4.5 Using MIDI to include step by step
screenshots and instructions on how to connect a simple plug-and-play midi
keyboard and start using it with LMMS.
