*March 2025* March was a fairly productive month for LMMS development, notably bringing a number of GUI-related updates. In total 41 PRs were opened, 21 of which have already been merged.
- Cosmetically you'll notice that the website supports dark-mode now and the download buttons match our proposed "pr", "nightly", "alpha", "stable" branding. - The project is switching image assets to SVG (help needed for this) - "lmms --version" will now show the build flags used to create it - Device sample rate can now be selected in settings menu (Helps testing some back-ends) - We've been constantly improving msys2 support making developing easier on Windows. - The lmms.io website can now be developed on Windows. ... plus a lot more... see here: https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/discussions/7826 Items we're hoping to close (or nudge) in April: - Qt6 support - Multi-channel plugins - Sample caching - Upstream portsmf changes / coordinated with Tenacity - Pattern Editor (previously BB Editor) playhead - Undo/redo history - Audio recording - Adding a "News" section to the website with the monthly report. ... plus a few more... see here: https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/discussions/7826
