Alright guys, I've done a big clean-up on the wiki.
I hope it'll prevent translators from getting messy and confused.
>From now on, most pages (I say most because we won't be translating the VST
database and things like that) will have a template on top with links to
translated versions of themselves.
To translate, all that needs to be done by generous translators is:
0-hitting "edit" as usual, clicking on the template with "Trans" at the end
(bottom of page), and editing it
1-creating a new link in the template named in the translation language
preceded by its ISO 639
-1<http://www.mathguide.de/info/tools/languagecode.html>code (i.e.
Fr:Astuce du jour)
2-saving the template and translating the new article based on the original
(English) version
3-saving the article and celebrating with ice cream and party hats
We currently work with 5 languages in addition to English, and I'm sure this
number will grow quickly. Come on people! This wiki needs some awesome
Slavic and Finno-Ugric languages! (and more)
@PaulWay: Could you translate these titles into Portuguese? - We need them
so that they can be used as page names instead of the current English ones.
-Putting the song together
-Creating a Theme
-Composing Bass Lines and Drum Sequences
-Your First Song with LMMS
@Anyone who speaks Italian: Could someone translate the following?
-Developer Documentation
-Writer Documentation
-Artist Documentation
Thanks y'all :)
