It seems there's no way to make Zyn only get MIDI events from LMMS but not from the MIDI controller. Right now, it seems that the events are handled both by LMMS as well as Zyn. If I configure Zyn to not listen to MIDI controller events altogether, then LMMS itself can't control Zyn. What needs to be done is have Zyn only get MIDI events from LMMS, and only LMMS get events from the controller (LMMS can then forward events to Zyn as needed.)
