-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
We've got a problem on the website - spammers are hitting it harder and harder. I've just removed all the content from seven or eight pages - random content with a link to their spammed site, to make it look like a 'real' review page. They also love the image uploader. Every single one is from a user that has been freshly created, usually less than a day before. IMO we need to either tighten the user creation process or disable new page creation to new users, at least in the short term. We can't keep on waiting for wiki admins to delete these pages and remove the spam. Thanks in advance, Paul -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk1zRhkACgkQu7W0U8VsXYKbrACfRcPAAHMuEXHtTdnxRc3gzWf9 t5EAoI1W/hhORqzCU65YwMHVGgHglPdi =A13+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What You Don't Know About Data Connectivity CAN Hurt You This paper provides an overview of data connectivity, details its effect on application quality, and explores various alternative solutions. http://p.sf.net/sfu/progress-d2d _______________________________________________ Lmms-users mailing list Lmms-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lmms-users
