Frankly, currently I'd love to have *any* release to at least be able to
try out the LMMS :)

I was even thinking of writing some sort of MIDI router+filter that
would just read from the real MIDI and convert these All Notes Off to
single Note Off and send it all to a newly created virtual MIDI
interface that LMMS would attach to. Something like
http://pp.com.mx/python/alsaseq/project.html (search for MIDI router)
but I don't know if it is feasible.

I'll wait impatiently to see if your code is in next release candidate
(or full release already?) to give it a try.
