Not necessarily true, 1. Change the base note of that instrument. It's
the green piano key at the bottom when the instrument's screen is open. 2.
Select all in piano roll (CTRL + A) and use the pencil to drag them up or
down an octave. If neither of these are easy enough, please file an
enhancement request
