Now, this is a really preliminary mix ( pretty crappy really - levels all over the place -lots more to do) It's not too bad in the cans :) This is a song I wrote in 1989 (!) hence the '80's sound/feel/thing i guess. My son has (??had??) a playstation drum pad which happens to have half decent midi out, so I played the drums on that. I used his real high hats for the hats. I used my tall boys (conga) for the conga. The bass is my trusty old GT $350.00 special - still love it actually. My Epiphone semi accoustic.. (bit rusty there - close enuff for a demo) ...Linuxsampler (giga piano, some drums sounds), Kontakt2 for stings. SampleTank 2 for rhodes, strings and some drums - oh and no that's not a girl with me there -it's me. No autocrap there lads, just me throat. Not bad for 57 1/2 eh ?? hehehe Now the most important thing of course is that it's ENTIRELY muse2 - host/midi/audio/mix. I gotta say that even tho I've still got my "L" plates on with audio in the old broad- she's still gives back beautifully. There are ommissions but shit it's good :D What people never comment on is the fact that Linux is THE most musical OS on earth - fact and period. I owe an enormous debt to all you guys for this program. It's a very very special tool. Anyway I'd love some feedback/crits/abuse about production and suggestions etc ( polite ones preferably ) salut g. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
