Robert, i found a couple of my former feature requests.
Use case:
When I select a midi track and start working in it, i rely on patch changes
to trigger different articulations. The challenge comes when i'm working
with my midi keyboard and qwerty, then i have to go to the mouse to select
a patch, and insert it in the track at the playback cursor. This is
particularly tedious when i have a lot of bindings to add.
Suggested bindings:
1. Select the patch change drop down menu in the track "strip". (binding
opens the patch menu, and use up and down arrows to navigate. Press the
binding again to close the menu}
2. New binding for the "Prog" button below that menu, to insert the patch.
It would be terrific if this worked for the pianoroll as well. As a patch
is added, a small triangle at the insert location would show where the
patch is in the timeline, and i respectfully suggest this goes in the
timeline strip above the pianoroll canvas.
Please note. If we can remove patch changes (small triangles) in the
pianoroll, by, as an example, clicking on them and pressing delete, that
would be much faster than the current system.
Thanks,
Alex.
