Yes at the end of my rambling response to Geoff I mentioned NSM, 
 it seems to be well regarded for its techniques, as is NON itself.
There seems to be some momentum amongst devs to support NSM
 as an alternative to JS, ie. there isn't much bad said about it in all 
 those LAD SM mega-threads.

I seemed to recall it could work with or without Jack, or something.
Not sure, must look into its features.

Maybe we're just gonna have to support all three LA(DI)SH, JS, and NSM.
