Could you explain a bit on how you go about creating drums?

Are you creating a new drum-kit from samples often?
I can see that this scenario may be a weak spot in the new drum editor.

You can do it, sort of, by dragging the A-note to the position you
want that drum, but it's awkward.
In the scenario when you have a drummap that seldom changes this isn't
really an issue.

Though when I think about it I'm not sure why the E-note is adjustable
but not the A-note.
Maybe it should be the other way? Florian do you remember if there was
an intention?

Just recalled, I forgot to reply to your question a while ago what the
LV1,2,3,4 are.
They are predefined velicities which can be reached with different
modifiers when clicking notes with the mouse.
If you for instance draw a drumnote and hold meta (windows key) you
will get the velocity specified on LV2.
