Hello again, 2013/4/27 Geoff Beasley <[email protected]>: > why can't i change the A note in the new drum list editor? - I want to > do that all the time ..
Could you explain a bit on how you go about creating drums? Are you creating a new drum-kit from samples often? I can see that this scenario may be a weak spot in the new drum editor. You can do it, sort of, by dragging the A-note to the position you want that drum, but it's awkward. In the scenario when you have a drummap that seldom changes this isn't really an issue. Though when I think about it I'm not sure why the E-note is adjustable but not the A-note. Maybe it should be the other way? Florian do you remember if there was an intention? -- Just recalled, I forgot to reply to your question a while ago what the LV1,2,3,4 are. They are predefined velicities which can be reached with different modifiers when clicking notes with the mouse. If you for instance draw a drumnote and hold meta (windows key) you will get the velocity specified on LV2.
