MusE uses OSC (via the liblo version of OSC) currently only for DSSI synth GUIs. This question of further OSC support came up recently, and I know that more devices have OSC these days, so the time is approaching (now?) when we should expand the support. So we do have some infrastructure in place that could be leveraged. It's a matter of available time though... If you file a feature request on the tracker, it'll be a handy reminder.
