Robert, can you make a cname www for a domain to point to @ record ?

now it points to web hosting info page:

    nslookup www.muse-sequencer.org <http://www.muse-sequencer.org>
    Server: 10.10.179.1
    Address: 10.10.179.1#53

    Non-authoritative answer:
    www.muse-sequencer.org <http://www.muse-sequencer.org> canonical
    name = webredir.vip.gandi.net <http://webredir.vip.gandi.net>.
    Name: webredir.vip.gandi.net <http://webredir.vip.gandi.net>
    Address: 217.70.184.38 <tel:217.70.184.38>

Alright, tried to fix it, seems to take 3 hours for the fix to be enabled, we'll see if I got it right.

Thanks!

Strange, but even soa dns servers are not updated after a fix:

nslookup muse-sequencer.org a.dns.gandi.net
Server: a.dns.gandi.net
Address: 173.246.97.2#53

Name: muse-sequencer.org
Address: 80.234.47.97

but

nslookup www.muse-sequencer.org a.dns.gandi.net
Server: a.dns.gandi.net
Address: 173.246.97.2#53

www.muse-sequencer.org canonical name = webredir.vip.gandi.net

Though these servers must reflect changes without any latency.
Well, may be the dns hosting has own rules about that.

Andrew
